Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Lượng – Deputy Director of PCC5 – takes a commemorative photo with members of the Acceptance Council.

With its large scale and high technical demands, the construction of the project strictly adhered to all safety and quality standards. PCC5's team of experienced engineers and technical staff worked relentlessly to ensure timely completion while meeting stringent performance and environmental protection requirements.

The successful completion of this project stands as a testament to PCC5’s unwavering commitment to Safe – High-Quality – On-Schedule Construction, in close coordination with the investor and all project stakeholders.

The 110kV Quy Nhơn Port Substation Project includes key components such as the newly constructed 110kV substation with a designed capacity of 2x63MVA. In this phase, one 110/22kV - 63MVA transformer has been installed, with provisions for a second transformer. The facility is designed as a digital unmanned substation, featuring a 5.825 km double-circuit 110kV connection line, consisting of:

  • 1.8 km of overhead lines, and

  • 4.025 km of single-phase 110kV underground cable, copper core, XLPE insulation, 1,200 mm² cross-section, directly buried at a depth of approximately 1.5–2 meters. The installation was performed using HDPE conduits and robotic drilling techniques, meeting high safety and technical standards.

Once completed, the project will help enhance cargo handling capacity, boost growth at Quy Nhơn Port, and modernize the regional power grid infrastructure—contributing to Bình Định Province’s comprehensive socio-economic growth targets for 2024.
