Commencement of Construction for Package No. 05XL-DZCĐ: Construction and installation of cable trenches, cable joint boxes, supply and laying of underground cables on the Con Dao side, under the project Power Supply from the National Grid to Con Dao District, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.
On November 11, 2024, at Power Project Management Board No. 3 – a Branch of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), a contract signing ceremony was held for Package No. 05XL-DZCĐ: Construction and Installation of Cable Trenches, Cable Joint Boxes, Supply and Laying of Underground Cables on the Con Dao Side, as part of the Project to Supply Electricity from the National Grid to Con Dao District, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. The contract was signed between Power Project Management Board No. 3 and Power Engineering Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 5 (PCC5).
PCC5 has since taken over the construction site and promptly initiated preparation steps for execution with a focused and urgent spirit, ensuring all procedures and conditions are in place. The goal is to provide stable and safe electricity to the Con Dao island power grid, in alignment with the development objectives of Con Dao District and Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. This also contributes to ensuring national defense, security, and sovereignty over Vietnam’s maritime territories, as approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 708/QĐ-TTg dated June 16, 2023.
