HRD PROJECT

1. Project Overview
The HRD process platform is located 70 km southwest of Mumbai, India, in an offshore area with a water depth of 50 meters. The scope of work carried out in Vietnam includes the topside module, weighing 8,500 tons.

2. Project Scale
This is a strategic project for Vietnam, marking the first collaboration with an Indian oil and gas corporation.
The platform is a medium-sized process unit designed to international standards and constructed within a short timeframe despite a heavy workload. The Vietnamese side successfully met the contracted schedule and quality standards, demonstrating professionalism in the oil and gas sector.
To achieve these results, the main contractor and all construction units—including PCC5—worked tirelessly around the clock and regularly held meetings on quality, safety, and progress to ensure timely and safe project delivery.

3. Scope of Work
Fabrication, procurement of materials and equipment, installation, and testing of the HRD process platform.
PCC5 served as the subcontractor responsible for executing the entire E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) system of the HRD platform with the following summarized quantities:

• Instrument Equipment Installation: 314 units

• Instrument Equipment Installation Inspection: 393 units

• Electrical Equipment Installation Inspection: 3,147 units

• Cable Tray Installation: 6,226 meters

• Cable Pulling and Laying: 118,735 meters

• Glanding: 7,048 units

• Cable Termination: 7,994 points

• Cable Testing and Inspection: 4,398 cables

• Tubing Installation 3/8'' OD x 0.035'': 858 meters

• Tubing Installation 1/2'' OD x 0.065'': 1,884 meters

• Tubing Testing: 2,742 meters

4. Contract Value and Final Settlement

• Total contract value signed and assigned by PTSC M&C to PCC5: VND 13,971,203,487 (Thirteen billion, nine hundred seventy-one million, two hundred and three thousand, four hundred and eighty-seven dong).

• Final settlement value of PCC5: VND 17,474,673,979 (Seventeen billion, four hundred seventy-four million, six hundred seventy-three thousand, nine hundred and seventy-nine dong).

5. Construction Timeline
The construction of the HRD process platform began on January 1, 2014, and was launched on December 15, 2014.
The E&I system installation by PCC5 commenced on June 2, 2014, and was completed on December 15, 2014.

6. Construction Methods
The E&I construction methodology for the HRD platform was carried out based on the construction plan submitted to PTSC M&C and the investor.
This methodology served both as a construction guideline and as training material for workers in the field of offshore platforms and process platforms.
